Bradley Paul Valentine enjoys exploring the unusual stories people
tell about themselves. An acute observer, he is a filmmaker at heart.
This shows in much of his photographic work, which often experiments
with narrative techniques.
For Valentine, art is a process that defines where he is at a
particular moment. A versatile photographer and graphic designer, he
is known for working on the Family Values Portrait Project at Tampa's
Covivant Gallery, where he documented families and couples to
emphasize diversity in the Bay area.
Through concert photos and album artwork, Valentine has captured the
style of local and national musicians. He has also created commercial
work for clients such as WYRR Pirate Radio, St. Anthony's Hospital and
Sauver clothing, and his art has appeared at the St. Petersburg Arts
Center, Gala Corina, the Tampa Museum of Art, Booty Contemporary Art
Expo and The Sanctuary Gallery, among other venues.
A longtime Florida resident, Valentine hopes to contribute to Tampa's
growing cultural scene, and help it flourish. |
